Hi

Your wife will apply for ILR alongwith you. As soon as you guys get your ILR, you can apply for the citizenship of your uk born child.
Your wife can apply for citizenship alongwith you only if she gets ILR with you.

HSMP2007 I can confirm that the reply you received from BRP department is a standard template and is not specific to your case. My ILR was approved on 16 April 2012. I sent an email to BRP department on 27 April and the reply I received was exactly similar to yours. The next day I received another e...

ILR approved 16/04/2012 but BRP not yet delivered

All I applied on ILR at Croydon office on 11th April. Decision not given on same day due to IT issues. However, received my ILR approval letter dated 16 April 2012 stating that I'll receive my BRP in next 7 working days. Today is 30 April 2012 and I haven't received anything. I sent an email to BRPD...

If they told you that they are holding the application for additional checks then it may take more than 7 days. But if they held the application due to their IT issues then I think u will get the decision in 7 days.

In any case wish u all da best.

Nothing to worry about. You'll get your decision in next 7 days just like so many of us who attended Croydon PEO. We were told the same story.

Best of luck

ILR successful with traffic offence CU80

All I applied for ILR - same day service at Croydon on 11th April 2012. My case was HSMP (2 years) + Tier 1 (General) 3 years. Straight forward application. The only complication was that I conceded 3 points on my licence in March 2010 for using mobile phone whilst driving (CU80). I was given a fixe...

Guys We are here to support each other rather than arguing with each other. The fact of the matter is that UKBA is a state department. Usually the state deprtments work with their own pace. One may have a right of complain but it is highly unlikely going to resolve the matter in near future unless y...

Please see below the answers to your questions:
1. Court was not involved at all in my case as I got FPN from the police officer.
2. I got FPN in March 2010 so will be spent in March 2015.
3. I did not do any CRB checks prior to my ILR application.

Hi I believe you'll get your ILR despite of your conviction. Reason being, only court deals with matters relating to driving without insurance, driving without licence etc. Traffic officers can't give penalties in these cases therefore a fine is only given by court. You should be ok with your ILR ap...
