That is normal, dont worry.

the status changes every time they take action on your application.

1. visa application forwarded to british high commision
2. Your application is currently under process.
3. your application in transit..

These are the various stages during the procedure.

rdamsel, you are right , it should be more than 600£.

mayprivate, Case workers does mistakes some times, that doesn't mean that
it is right, you can appeal against the decision.

The link you posted 'http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... ce-changes' clearly says that more than 600£ is enough.

If the main applicant is in UK for more than 12 months, then you need only 600£ not 1500£.

It should be more than 600£ for each dependant, you can show the funds here in UK or in your home country but not half here and half there.
