Re: About Biometrics

I will explain: When I received my Biometrics booking letter and I went straight away on the website to book it, I noticed that there was only one appointment date available (28/02/12) didn't matter how soon I put my availability and I think that ...

I heard from a few other people who applied that they only got their biometrics booking letter 2 - 3 months after submitting their application! It's a pity especially since they only took 1 working day to process and approve my fiancee visa in my home country. Definitely going for the in-person serv...

If it's any consolation, I sent my application (via post) on the 16th of February and received the acknowledgement letter on the 20th of February. Still no biometrics letter to date!

Hi everyone, I am currently in the UK under a fiancee visa will be submitting my application for the FLR(M) next week via post. I have a couple of questions : 1. Will I need to provide photocopies of all my supporting documents? 2. I'm planning to submit all my documents in a plastic sheet, which ar...

Just to let you guys know that I have received my passport together with my supporting documents. Everything was there - except my fiancé's British passport. No letter, no email, no nothing. If it weren't for that phone call, I would have no way of finding out.

Hello vinny, I don't have much information about this, I'm afraid :( The phone call caught me at a very bad time - I was behind the wheel and had to pull over on the motorway. I tried calling back as I had more questions (tracking number etc) but getting hold of anyone from the British High Commissi...

Hello FaFa9660, That's great news! It's a good thing they allowed you to get the recognised English requirement test done instead of rejecting the application outright :) The only reason why the ECO called me was because my fiancé is currently in the UK at the moment and I brought his passport back...

Hello FaFa9660, I am also from Malaysia and have also applied for a fiancee visa. I have just received a text from VFS saying that my supporting documents and passport is currently being couriered over to Sabah. The whole process took 4 working days (not entirely sure if that's a good thing, but a p...
