Here is latest guidenace for PBS dependants effetive from April 2012. it does not tell anything about new requirement of funds £1600 when main applicant is lesser than 12 months.

I want my family to apply for tier 2 general dependants I have both options , got letter from employer and bank statement (which has just few hundred more than required balance) as well. what you think guys , which one is best option to mark as maintenance ? 1 - Maintenance Letter OR 2 - Own Funds

You need to choose one option , either funds / letter as core option. But it would support and make your case stronger if you attach as supporting document (either letter or statement)

If your A rated employer gives you maintenance certificate (undertaking on their letterhead) than funds are not required , but to make your application strong it will be good to provide funds regardless 90 days limit.. this is what I did from Pakistan

Hi , is any change going to implement for visa rule of tier 2 dependant from April 2012?

like I did hear UK govt. thinking to apply 12 months minimum stay in UK for a main applicant prior he/she can able to bring family here.

Dependant Visa - Maintenance certificate

Hi,

I got Maintenance certificate ( a letter on company’s pad) from my sponsor for my family, I want to confirm it will it be enough as Maintenance , VISA collection helpline in Pakistan confusing me as they say I must need bank statement for three months.

Sorry I just realized its a "Restricted COS" and out of country application. Do not withdraw the COS at all.. It's difficult to get a restricted COS. Please speak to UKBA before making any decision. :) Going mad.... sharing with you friends.. sometime I think should withdraw from proposal...

You could put a sponsor note in the COS, But they say its only to be used when making small corrections. e.g: Spelling errors etc, If you call the home office they will guide you. Depends on what your company is like. Usually the 'unrestricted' CoS can be issued instantly if the firm has quota.
