Adult (elderly) dependant relative application forms

Please would you be able to advise me as to whether this application is to be made online only (https://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk/home/welcome) or can this be done using the paper form VAF8A (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/application-for-visa-family-settlement-or-reunion-form-appendix-1-va...

In my case it was an endorsement on licence LC20 - 3 points. No fine was applied
I feel it is best to say yes in the form, but make a clear mention of this in the covering letter

Success: SET(O) HSMP (PreNov 2006 under JR) at Croydon PEO

Sharing my experience here for others who may find it useful. Croydon is doing Saturday appointments in NOV, which was good for us - note- only for Non Bio Metric applications. I provided: 1. 12 months bank statements 2. Co- habitation documents 3. 4 P60s 5. Letter from employer 6 Details of absence...

Thank you very much this is very helpful indeed. I was thinking on the same lines, will make 2 folders. One more question: when the case worker asks you for say the a, b and c, did you have the respective documents ( say the P60 s) do you have that in its own little folder or did you hand them over ...

First of all, congratulations on your ILR
I just wanted to check....how do most people who go for the PEO appointment carry the papers - it seems a bit awkward giving loose papers to the CW upon their request, what is the recommended practice and how did you manage this.
Thanks for your help

Which PEO, and learning on booking timely appointments

I am having problems in getting a PEO appointment. I have found that it becomes a bit complicated when you need 2 slots: family slot + a single slot for an over 18 dependant, as certain locations UKBA seem to have either only single appointments while in others just the family slots. So : Would advi...

Hi Farah thank you so much for your reply I am quite worried for my son. I have all the evidence that he is financially and emotionally dependent on his parents, and lives in the same house. Actually when we got the initial EC the ECO gave us his and his managers names, saying if he had problems in ...

Hi sushdmehta my son was actually 18 when he got the initial EC . The ECO was aware that he was 18 but told us that he had discussed with his Manager and they had decided to give him EC as an HSMP dependent. This was pre Nov 2006.

I was able to get the answer to my above query through previous posts, but I really wanted some thoughts from moderators and senior members on the letter which we received when my son (over 18 at the time) received the FLR in 2008, which was addressed to him. The last para of the letter reads: "...

Thank you so much for your replies.
When I do the online booking for the family, will there be an option to include the 0ver 18 dependent in the same appointment. That isn't too clear to me yet

Many thanks for the guidance and advise on various points so far. I have been considering to take a PEO appointment for ILR under JR, but one thing has caught my attention: I have a over 18 dependent (son) for whom I am completing the separate Set O form, and will be paying the fee for him, When we ...

HSMP ILR JR: which form for 0ver 18 dependant

I would be grateful if you could confirm to me which form should be used for my son who is an over 18 dependent. I am covered under HSMP JR. I had read somewhere that the over 18 dependent should apply along with the main applicant using a separate Set 0 form. Is my understanding correct. many thank...

Am I HSMP under JR or Tier 1 under JR - foxed!

I came to UK under HSMP, got FLR under the terms of JR (2years + 3 years), The letter I received from Home Office when I got in FLR, says that my case was "considered under the terms of the HSMP JR" and I am "eligible to apply for ILR as a participant of the HSMP / Tier 1 (General) Sc...
