I have a question for those who have already got their ILR. When they return your passports and documents, does the postman just leave them in your postbox or do you need to sign when you receive them? Took my wife (set m ilr) 16 whole long dreaded weeks before the postman knocked on our door - Was...

The only photos we submitted for set m ILR were the passport size ones as per requirement, ILR granted, you needn't worry.

I would take more than 6 letters if I was you , we submitted well more than 6.

Marriage Holders ILR - Naturilisation

Hi Folk

Can someone tell me if its 1 year from the date of the ILR sticker before one can apply for BC or is it exactly 3 years from the date of arrival to the UK.

My wife has been granted ILR via settlement (marriage grounds).

Thanks

Thanks Double, yes you are correct, most straight forward SET M ILR applications usually settle within 8-12 weeks and that's what we were anticipating too. Considering it was stamped before xmas, it was still within their 14 weeks threshold / timescales for decision, it just took time to get to me d...

Hi We have been waiting 16 weeks now for a SET M ILR - pending decision, (normally taking 10 / 12 weeks for others to get passports back for this type of ILR), do you think its worth writing to get an update ? SET M Gaku applied on 6/9/11- now waiting 16 weeks luke79 applied on 15/09/11- now waiting 15 weeks simb...
