Re: PSW to Tier 2 General (COS Application as well)

Hello folks, I recently got a job offer from a small employer and they are willing to apply for my work permit as well and I had some questions I would be grateful if I got some answers on. I am currently in a PSW which ends by the first week of February. The company does not yet have a COS but are...

Re: Diff b/w Unrestricted COS and Restricted COS

Hi , What is the difference between Unrestricted and Restricted COS Restricted = when you apply from outside the UK (You need a RMLT for this) Unrestricted = when you apply from inside the UK. (usually when switching categories) Also, worth mentioning is that, for Restricted COS there is a quota. S...

Re: License delay

So I just have to wait till Jan last week and then ask for special urgent treatment? So both the license and my visa will be sorted too at the same time? When you request for urgent treatment 10 working days before your current visa expires they will do the best to get it done as soon as possible. ...

Hello Hashmil, you don't need to worry about it since it just says the deadline of 15 working days from the day you receive this letter... but they are going to send such bio-metrics letters to you 4 to 6 times with 17 working days from the next letters... so you got plenty of time Friend! And also...

My strong recommendation is not to enroll Bio-metrics yet, if you dont appear for it within given 15 working days, they will send you 2 more reminders for 17 working days to 15 working days (which means 2 to 3 months easily)... in fact if you send them address change application after 3 bio-metrics...

If you overstay for more than 28 days then it may affect entry clearance application(s) in the future. Overstaying for less than 28 days is, currently, fine though never recommended. You'll need to mention your overstay (even if less than 28 days) in any immigration application that may ask for suc...

Hashmil, he advised you something good and in your favor, this is upto you to follow it or not!! And second thing, this depends on you and your company's relation if they trust you enough to do so or not!!... You have to find a way to convince your company, for example you can ask them to discuss r...

Don't know really. At the moment the sponsor licenses have a delay of 6 months according to this thread. How long is COS taking currently? All these added up brings me very close to my visa expiry. Well you'll already have COS when you become Licensed sponsor. So you won't have to apply separately ...

Re: Process

Hi, I was a bit confused about the process for Tier 2 visa.
