New Zealand. I still have 6 months before my visa expires but my company is only applying for a new license this week. I might book flights when there's 3 months left, just in case :( You've got plenty of time mate! Just make sure that your company has the correct documents, all properly certified....

I have already paid for my flight and booked for Friday. £600 for me. Which is still a lot of money.

£5000 sounds insane! where do you have to fly to?

Ok so here is an update. My company registration got refused. Apparently one of the documents was not "certified" - even though they were the original documents which we had sent. (3 out of the 4 documents we had sent were fine. It's just the one which they couldn't verify). So, my visa e...

We were planning to do that but yesterday they got back to us. so your company license is issued now? is that correct? did you get unrestricted ...

Except that I've seen a number of people on here who have applied for urgent treatment and have heard nothing back.... Yes, but here's the thing. Most who have made urgent requests have weeks and perhaps months before their current visa expires. They explicitly say that they will only consider if i...

so we had to send 4 documents for the application to register. And they came back saying that they have only accepted two of them, and the other two we supplied couldn't be verified. so they have asked us to send those ASAP, which we are organising now.

I hope so too. I guess, the trick was to be nice to them. We were VERY very polite in our email, which is why i guess they replied soon. i guess the people who are responding to our queries have no control, and someone higher up pushes all the important buttons. but at least if we can be nice and no...

I did call them few times and email them and they informed us that we are working on the applications for the first week of April. It is nearly 6 months now. i...

Looks like until April they were issuing less licenses than requested. With April coming down to a shocking 44. Which was probably why all this delay was. Though looks like they are catching up little by little by issuing more licenses each month than the requested number.

Thanks very much. And as far as I know, PSW applicants are exempted from maintenance as well. Nope, this is not the case anymore. It used to be, but now they have changed the rules, where you HAVE to show the maintenance fund, or get your sponsor to say that they will take care of it on the COS. an...

Also have been reading here in the forums saying that if you don't get the CoS on time to send the Tier 2 visa application anyway an...

Thanks Manci. I guess i've posted a fresh thread again with a few more questions. As for the maintenance fund I have had the £900 for while, so should be fine when i make my application. As for the timing, guess i have to just wait :) 1. Maintenance fund. A few months ago I read on the UKBA website ...
