Premium Appointment - Eligibility

Hi there, this forum has been super helpful in the past, and even helped me to reverse a refusal due to an error by the UKBA! So, I come again to ask a question and clarification. I have tried searching for this on this forum and couldn't find an answer. But first, about my status: I have been in th...

Shengen Visa - Does employed wife need to show marraige cert

I'm in the UK on a Tier 2 general visa, and my wife is here as a dependant. We are planning to go to Greece on holiday, and in the preparing for our application. We have got all the necessary documents outlined on the VFS website - flights, accommodation, bank statements, insurance, proof of occupat...

Here's the reference thread to what i had to go through. http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=121317 Also - if they asked not to appeal, this means they are considering reversing the decision. Pretty much what happened with me - though i had already sent my appeal before they could reply...

If the OP does not appeal and the OP is unable to email the caseworker or the email elicit no response or UKBA refuses to change the decision, the OP will become an overstayer in the UK from the day after the deadline for appeal submission. There goes the prospect of ILR down the drain!! So, please...

Sorry, I missed reading the "dependant" in the opening post. Response edited. Both of you will need to apply for entry clearance from outside the UK (India). sorry if i'm mistaken - but has the rules changed with regard to this? as I had a PSW (tier 1) and then switched to Tier 2 General ...

Going through the same thing. Though the first thing i told them about was my visa situation. Therefore they had HR and legal working on it right at the beginning. So, it's taken 4 weeks for the RMLT now, and by next week i'll be sending my application by post. It will take around 4 more weeks to pr...

Shouldn't be a problem. When my brother applied the background in his photo was too dark. and they emailed him asking to send in new photos. also in my case - they refused my visa because they made a mistake where they thought my job number was not the correct NQF6. i had to just email them (instead...

It seems that your caseworker is not familiar with the correct procedure. refer to Greenie's post on 11 Jan: it is not up to you to withdraw the appeal and you shouldn't do this. Ukba should withdraw the decision, and notify the tribunal, that is the correct procedure. If you withdraw the appeal an...

Re: Tier 1 Post study work extention

I have heard from few sources that if you are currently on PSW visa you can switch to Tier 2 if you are getting a salary of or over £20,000 and also if your company holds a sponsors licence. Is it true? if it is then what paperworks are required by the company to process this visa ? Yeah it is. Tha...
