Re: Tier 1 General Ext only until 2015

phew ! guys we need to have a clear agenda to fight the case. tier 1 applicants will be treated differently from hsmp. tier is subjected to change and we all have signed this agreement while making the application can we all think and come up with a very specific agenda/scenario. tier1 was closed in...

Re: Tier 1 General Ext only until 2015

guys what's this 90 day continuous out of country rule now.

I thought this continuous absence is only broken by 180 days per year. Has something changed recently now ?

Re: Tier 1 General Ext only until 2015

I beat all of you :) ( and not very proud of it ) My first entry was aug 2011. Didn't stay much. Came back in Nov 2011 and again same story. Eventually entered again on 6th May 2012 and has been living here. So I am hoping I will be able to apply around late 2016/Jan 2017 ( using the 180 day allowan...

Re: Tier 1 General Ext only until 2015

You are right. I don't think HO has even given slight consideration to these scenarios. I hope atleast we all get 3 years extension in our last application. I don't know why they want to stop extensions in 2015 itself if they intend to close ilr in 2018. They could have milked more money all the way...

Re: Tier 1 General Ext only until 2015

I think most of us will make the ILR boat if we go for early extensions.
But It becomes very unfair if we get a minor conviction just before ilr and then have no place to go.

not sure what happens to applicants who have already stayed here for more than 5 years but waiting to spend their minor convictions.

I hope it is just an assumption by the author of the report that no one will need extensions past 2014 as tier 1 was closed way back in 2011.

Traffic offence outside UK

Posting this on ILR forum as it relevant for ILR too and hoping for more responses and experiences. Hi, I received a penalty for a red light camera offence in the US. I didn't have to go to the court and I paid the fine online. There were no points on my driving license and this type of violation in...

Payslip Query

Hi, I will be applying for my visa extension soon. I had a slight confusion regarding the payslip earnings period I am planning to show the earnings between June 2012 to May 2013. I joined this company on May 22nd 2012 (after the salary cut off day) So my June 2012 payslip has 2 entries like below S...

they were able to verify my documents on the same day. But i don't know how the verification was done. btw all my earnings were earned in US. Maybe they have the facility to verify documents for few countries. again i am guessing. No one would be able to confirm this.
My PEO location was Sheffield.

i will put my experience regarding the 2 concerns you raised 1> Entering UK with limited leave to remain on the Visa.: As long as you are entering for the purpose of work, i don't think IO officer can create any unwanted problems. Be honest and stick to your point. scheduling interviews might help. ...

ILR Reset

I saw few posts which mention about the 'ILR reset' if continous residency is broken. But couldnt find any such term in UKBA official documents. I arrived in UK in sep 2011 ( very late after EC) and also got my tier 1 extended. So effectively my ILR clock started from Sep 2011. But I need to move ou...

This was my first entry to UK after I received the EC in 2008. The caseworker was able to get to the result in about 2-3 hrs and i received the...
