But that was in year 2011 and during the ilr period 2012-2017, i was employed properly in uk. I got my ilr this month itself in croydon peo. Wrt question b) my absences ...

Re: Successful PEO/PSC ILR applications

Hi Sandy_06, first congratulations on your ILR. Its quite rare for self employed applicants to secure ILR through PEO. Based on your older posts, it seems you had a absence of around 50 days . 1. Did you submit any covering letter? 2. What reason you mentioned for that absence. 3.Also i believe, you...

Tax amend required?

Hi,

I notice that i have tax overdue of 2£ in 2013-2014 Self assesment report. I shall be paying it along with my next tax return.
Do you think it would be an issue in ILR. Do i need to do an 'amendment' for that year ?

Re: ILr - Tier 1 (G) route - review

wanderer, do you agree one doesn't need to do a self assessment if definitely not a resident? now the big question is were we resident or not. In 2011-2012, i was in UK for roughly 7 days- to attend an interview and do my extension. I was put up at my friends place and still working for the foreign ...

mine is also very similar case. 1. got T1 visa stamped in Oct 2008 for 3 years 2. Entered first time only in Sept 2011 for a week and got my visa extended using only foreign earnings 3. Was in UK again in Nov 2011 for a interview and opened a Ltd company . It didn't work out and hence returned in 3 ...

Re: New rules to Tier 1 (general): 3-5 years for 2nd extensi

we did always wonder how the caseworker will consider the absence and grant leave accordingly. I think this confirms that HO only wants to ensure tier 1 applicants get atleast/minimum 5 years of total leave. Hopefully they stick to the minimum 3 year extension as per 6th Nov change. 245CB. Period an...

Re: T1 General ext till 2015 - short fall for ILR?

you could make a postal application for extension and hope that would buy around 1 month of time . then again make postal application for ILR just before visa expiry. I believe ILR processing time is more than extension . That could cover your qualifying period. I know not the ideal solution but it ...
