Isn't it clear? If make an application to extend your leave, and the application is granted, the start date on your new residence permit will be the date the application was decided, and not the date your current permission ends. So, in other words, if your leave expires on 31st October 2012, but y...

@ shahjee11 I called up immigration today and they said that the gap during which my visa is processing will be considered for ILR. I wonder what meanings should we derive from the following; ...your new permission to stay will begin on the date when we make the decision, not the date when your cur...

I have already told you on one of your earlier post that Once you get yourself registered as a sole trader with HMRC, only then you get a UTR. You cant just get one without being first registered. Fully agree with the above post. This would be another case of faking the income. One has to be working in legal terms either employed or self employed, if not then how on earth you are going to qualify for an extension.

Though I am a junior member but in my opinion, you can wait till 18th of March. In postal application, HO considers the date of application on...

You are welcome. HMRC will ask for the date you actually started trading meaning there by the date you actually provided any services. Hi there, I will try to answer all your questions one by one. 1) You can not register with a date in future, you will have to wait until you actually start trading. 2) If you are a web designer then this is your business. You can say you are an IT consultant as well. 3) If you dont have any name for...

If you had entered the UK with in 3 months of your initial grant of HSMP, then would have been ok but since you entered more than 5 months later, your time period starts from the date of entry. Also according to my understanding, If you apply for extension in country, the time that the application i...

It is actually a matter of interpretation. Maintenance funds need to be in the main applicant's account or in the dependent's own account as per the guidance. If a dependent can submit his/her own bank statement to show available funds, it would still be 2 statements from 2 different accounts being ...
