I am applying ILR and my wife is a dependent but she has only been in UK for about 1yr and 5 months, If I choose as dependent will my wife get ILR or just a dependent visa?

In this case does she need to write Life in Uk as well?

But my dependent is not yet eligible for ILR, they will just be a dependent on my visa, do they still need to give the exam?

I guess there is no harm to get the exam cleared just be on the safer side.

Travelling outside the country close to visa expiry

Are there any time lines which would cause the Immgiration issues if you travel close to visa expiry date.

I am planning to travel out of the country with 45 days ahead of the visa expiry, is that going to be an issue?

Mr Rusty Can you please tell from above is my fine a fixed penalty or not? I found this post where it says the fine although imposed by court, will still be considered as the fixed penalty as its associated with a fine. http://www.justanswer.com/uk-law/4wvrp-criminality-threshold-ilr-6th-april-2011....

I think you'll find that it is the fine rather than points on your licence which affects your application, and the period of rehabilitation is 5 years from date of conviction. See this table:- http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/documents/policyandlaw/ecg/rehabilitation-periods.pdf If the...
