Dual citizen what passport to use

Hello
I became British this year and received passport, but I still able to keep Russian passport.
I wanted to ask does it matter what passport numbers I will use for flights to/from Russia?
I believe it does not matter as I travel with two in hand to show.

Could you correct me if I am wrong please?

Hello

I am curious at what point do you become British: when received approved application, after certificate received or after passport is received?

Also on days away it states 5 years, but if I have applied for ILR based on 10 years, should I ...

I meant the allowable 540 days in 10 years, I guess after that it means broken continuous residence.

Travel to Jersey

Good morning all,
I have entered the UK on 31.7.2004 and going to apply for ILR in July 2014.
Can I still travel to Jersey in the end of June for tourism? I have plenty days left before 539 allowable.

Can student Tier 4 hold shares/receive dividends/rental inc?

Hi all, I wonder can someone on Tier 4 without right to work sell/buy shares (no as employment, but time to time through own bank system) or receive dividends from unquoted or listed companies? I don't consider this as the employment, so I just guess that even if you don't have permission to work an...

Application on 10 years rule SAR and date to apply

Hello I found this forum extremely helpful, so thank you again. A few questions regarding application 1. Just heard of SAR, is it useful and does it affect future application anyhow if requested? 2. I came to the uk on 30.7.04, does it mean I can only apply after 30.7.14? 3. I cannot find any mainte...

Re: Post subject: Volunteering is permitted if no work stamp

Is a volunteering permitted if no work stamp on visa? If you dont have work permission on visa, like student or visit, you simply cannot work legally either paid or un-paid, for charity or community or NGO or London Stock Exchange. Thank you deviser, great and helpful as always. It was just an idea.

Volunteering within community, ie planting trees, helping to prepare for festivals. I read somewhere that volunteering, ie Olympics volunteering, has a positive impact on ILR since you are trying to be a good citizen.

or not true?
