One quick question guys, if somebody has completed 10 years in Jan 2014, prior to completion of his current status i.e. Tier1 general (expires in later such Dec 2015) so can he/she apply ILR on 10 years in Jan 2015? Hi, I'm in similar situation. I'll apply for ILR (10yrs) in August 2015. My wife has been in the UK since Feb 2010. I've got the same situation could you please advise what route you've took in the end.
I am tier 1 general. and my wife is tier 1 general dependant(already completed 4 years) and me got ILR on long residency.

So according to you her clock will reset and she need to wait for another 5 years or she need to complete the 5 years in which her 3.5 years stay will count? She joined me in UK around July 2010 I think?
