What does "your details have been updated in OCI records" mean?

Hi all, I recently renewed my 5 year old daughters British passport, so completed the OCI renewal process via the OCI miscellaneous services section on the OCI website, as her existing OCI is linked to her old British passport. The application was submitted 6 weeks ago, and the status on the OCI web...

Hi All, My 5 year old daughter (British citizen + OCI holder) just got a new British passport. Am I right in thinking that she needs to renew her OCI now that she has a new passport and is under 20 years old? Also, one of the requirements is to upload a signature, and it won't let me proceed unless ...

Hi All, A 69 year old friend of mine lives in Denmark & is a Danish (EU) passport holder. She has an OCI, which she acquired in 2016 (she had PIO prior to that, which she acquired in 2006). Her Danish passport is expiring in a few months & she will be renewing it. Once she does that, does sh...

Re: ESTA Question Help Please

I don't recall the definitive answer to this question or the first questions that I asked in this thread. I remember calling the US customs & border protection helpline (see link below) & getting definite answers to all my questions there. It might be a few minutes before they answer the pho...

Re: ESTA Question Help Please

One more question (sorry forgot to ask this earlier) -

They ask "Are you now, a citizen or national of any other country?" I had obtained OCI (overseas citizen of India) after I got my British passport. Does this qualify as a "yes" for the above question?

Thanks

Re: ESTA Question Help Please

Thanks for your reply. So I will avoid stating any information of my Indian passports prior to the most recent one. should the expiration year be what is stated in the passport (2026) or should it be the year that it was revoked (2016)?

Thank you all for your replies. So lets say he manages to get a letter from his manager saying that he will be employed for the foreseeable future & he gets a premium ILR appointment. Is there a chance that they might call his company / HR to confirm?
