Re: FTT appeal dismissed....sending a fresh application

...and once your application is with them you are not an overstayer anymore but you already have some days in your record which has been classed as overstaying.
This is not correct. You will be an overstayer until the date you are granted another visa.

Re: Appeal rights on fresh app

If the application is after your visa has expired, then there are no appeal rights. If you still have leave, then you will have appeal rights.

Re: Urgent help: Upper tribunal refusal

I don't think any of your options make sense. 1) Judicial Review. You have been denied permision to appeal, I don't think you will get permission for judicial review. 2) Apply and withdraw. Won't make a difference. It would be the same as not applying for student visa at all. There is no benefit fro...

It's not hard but if you do not study for it you will fail, just like the theory driving test. You've left it a bit late but if you can read this book, before the exam you should be ok.

I do not think there will be a problem. Your cousin did nothing wrong apart from forging his passport entry. That was silly.Since he did not get a letter from ukba his time here was legal. If he gets caught he will be in trouble. Why doesn't he get a new passport. Then there is no fraud commited Ch...

Its a shame his mother was irresponsible with regards to his future, this could have been dealt with so easily when he was a minor. For now he has few options. It depends on how old he was when he came to the UK, how long he has been here for and whether he is currently exercising family life. Given...

She can switch if she did her Bachelor's degree here. Otherwise she has to leave the country and apply for a restricted COS.

Re: ILR Application eliminating absences by staying for 10+

The form usually asks for all absences from the date you first entered the uk. I suggest you just answer it as it is. They will work out your 10 year period from dates you provide. It is their job after all.

Normally the visa is granted for 6months in every 12month period. More than this will not be visiting but will be living in the UK and will need a different type of visa.

I think the home office made a mistake. Your date of application was 19/07/2006 which is 19 days out of time and should be allowed. Your application would have been invalid, had you not made the necessary corrections within the stipulated 28 days. But since you did, the status of your application be...

Citizenship is discretionary. It is not a right and is fully at the discretion of the secretary of state. They can deny a person citizenship and wont have to explain it. There are other cases like this as well. I don't know if you know of Mohammed AL Fayed but his case is similar. He took the secret...

Re: Bringing my niece to join me in the UK

I want to bring my sister's 14 year old daughter to the UK to live as my sister is unwell and unable to look after her and there is no other family living in Zimbabwe. I am a British Citizen and both myself and my Husband are in full time employment, our children have all but left home so there is ...
