ILR query

Hi Came in this country on WP in May 2008. Got an extension after two years in May 2010 with Tier 2 ICT for one year. Went back to the home country in April 2011 and got Tier 2 General leave to remain. Entered this country again in May before my old Tier 2 ICT was expired. I have two questions: 1. F...

Read Annex Point A4 Page 45 http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/applicationforms/pbs/tier2-guidance.pdf Thanks for your reply. Does that mean, I can have multiple COS assigned at a time. And I can use one assigned COS to get Tier 2 Visa. And therefore, I can ask the other employer to canc...

Hi, I have been offered a job from two different companies and yet to decide which one to join. I am currently on a Tier 2 Gen visa. Both the new companies are in the process to issue me an Unrestricted COS (market labour test, etc already done). My question is if I go with one of them, will two Cos ...

So the steps I am following are: 1. Get an appointment date for one day appointment (two weeks in adv...

Thanks sushdmehta :)

Wow that makes it virtually impossible to switch jobs on Tier 2 being within the UK. These laws are so harsh for innocent tax paying working class :(

Thanks for your reply

Sorry if I was not clear, my question was how long can I work for my 'current employer' once leave to remain for 'new employer' is issued (keeping in mind that the leave to remain starts after my notice period ends with my current employer)

Thanks sushdmehta; All that really makes sense and clarifies my doubts. Just one last question - If we ask the new employer to issue a Cos date one month from now and take a one day appointment (say tomorrow via solicitor; I believe they have some slots booked to get the appointment quickly) Will my...

Tier 2 Change of Employer

If you are on Tier 2 General visa with a restricted CoS and offered a job from a company who has a license to sponsor another CoS then 1. Once you receive a new CoS from your new employer, can you take a one day appointment to get my Tier 2 Visa change of employer application. If yes, does anyone kn...
