Dependent arrival later...

If a Canadian marries a foreigner while they are visiting Canada, will the foreigner's child (less than 19 years old) be able to quickly/easily come to Canada (less than two months) while the couple waits for the inland processing of their spousal sponsorship application?

Green card

On average, once a fiancee marries a U.S. citizen in the U.S.,
how long does it take to receive their green card after submitting their application?

Anyone have any experience with this, first or second hand?
Are we talking several weeks, several months, longer?
