Hi

Also can my wife's friend whom I came to know through my wife be my referee? Again, although she is a professional, she doesn't personally know me but rather an acquaintance.[/code]

I do have others who are professionals but they don't really know me "personally" as such while others don't know me for three or more years

Referee

Hi
I will be applying for BC soon on the basis of my marriage with my wife who is British. I am thinking of appointing a professional referee as her mother's brother's wife. She's a doctor but not my doctor. Will she be classed as related to me? She doesn't share the same surname as my wife's family.

Sponsor information

Hi to all I have submitted my application for ILR in August so I know it will take another couple of months to get it. My question is, whilst my application is in progress, is it possible that my parents (back home in India) can come over as a "Family Visitor"? Or do I have to wait until I...

Hi

Thanks cs95tdg for your response. It says that I can continue to work until the case is decided. But what if I want to change the jobs during this period?

Immigration Status

Hello

What is my immigration status while my application for ILR is in progress. The reason I ask is, I am thinking of changing jobs and the employer would like to know if I am entitled to work in the UK. I have done my biometrics last month.

Thanks

HI

Thanks RT I have rang the bank to check whether any payments have been requested. The answer from them was "no". Also, I double checked it with them whether they have any technical issues with the ongoing problems NATWEST had. All have been resolved. I rang HO - they said it might take tim...

Hi

Hi Zishi

They received it last Friday (29/06/2012). I know it's been only 3 working days, but reading the posts on here, it seems like HO takes the money straightaway.

Slightly worried

Hello there I have sent my application form along with a huge amount of documents for ILR last week. The money has not be debited from my bank account yet. Looking at the posts from other users on here, it seems that HO usually take the money very quickly. Since this hasn't been the case with me, sh...

HI

Obviously we both intend to live together but unfortunately due to the jobs, we have to live separately until one of us find the job near to the others.
We intend to see each other every weekend - but how am I supposed to prove this unless they set a private detective!

Does this mean, I cannot apply for ILR until I spend another 5 years on my current visa? Any comments will be app...
