It's funny how Brazilian consulate is acting. In Brazil the residence permits are issued in a card format (and not a vignette in the passport).

I wish my case was passed to the caseworker, but I guess it's too early yet. Maybe the person just processed, put in the pile again, and after a week did the same work all again!

You don't need to file for a divorce in Brazil. As both are living in the UK, you can get a divorce from here and later bring the paperwork to the Brazilian consulate to get it legalized.
