That would make sense, hopefully you will get a call from Cairo soon. That must have been a tough application to put together, when I lived in Egypt I could not fulfil all requirements, hence why I had to come back to the UK first without my man Good for you and good luck!!

Hey Mego, your 60 days would have been up yesterday, but I reckon that there were 3 days for Eid, Armed forces day, today's strike and Monday's election which should mean that your actual 60 working days is up a week today!! They do seem to have gone quiet, the Alexandria office is so much quicker is responding, (less applications), its so frustrating that others have got their visa who applied around the same time.

I personally think it is a bad idea to contact them at this point. We are given 12 weeks for a decision and from experience, if we request information before this time has elapsed, that is the answer you get. I also think we need to empathise with the people in cairo, their city, friends and family ...

It seems that everyone who has submitted in Egypt is getting this call! We submitted our application in September and received the call 2 weeks ago tomorrow. Last month my good friend had his visa accepted, they got a call also, but from Egypt. They are now calling from London...it is so hard not to...
