Re: ILR and child born in the UK

Thanks a million All! In that case I will apply for myself and my wife and will apply for British citizenship for my daughter once we will get our ILR.

You just saved me 2800 pounds for my child's application! Thanks a lot again!

Re: ILR and child born in the UK

Thank again, really appreciate it!

I was thinking that her visa will be invalidaded once I will get ILR as she is currently a Tier 2 dependant. I was thinkinh that dependands' visa is automatically cancelled once the main applicant changes their visa or immigration status.

ILR and child born in the UK

Hi All, I am currently on a Tier 2 General visa, my wife and my child are my dependants. Our visas are valid until mid 2019. My child was born in the UK but she also has a passport from our country. She travelled once to our country for a 1 week holiday. My wife and I will be eligible for ILR soon. ...

Re: Urgent! Can CoS application be edited instead of withdraw

From my own experience, my employeer did write incorrect End Date in CoS but then they edited the cos and added notes saying the End Date is incorrect and putted the right end date. My lawyer then printed the CoS and crossed the End Date on it by a pen and wrote next to it "please look to notes...

Credit Card balance

Hi All, I have a credit card that I am using on regular basis and also repaying the minimum amount every month. Never had any issues with the bank / repayment, etc. I just owe them around 2000 and pay 100 every month. My question is: when I apply to ILR can visa officers refuse my application saying...

Re: Domestic Assault and its impact on Tier 2 General extens

If I declare that truthfully is there anything to worry about? Good that you were not found guilty. You will however still need to declare it in your application form and explain that you were not found guilty. Logically, there should be no problem as if court says you're not guilty then you are no...

Re: Apply for Tier2 with newborn baby with no passport

I might be wrong but I believe that in order to apply for a visa your baby has to have a passport first. However, as your baby born here, you are not required to apply for a visa for them unless you are planning to travel with them. You can include your child in your next visa extension as long as t...

Re: ILR and SOC code salary

Hi hassanh, Thanks a lot for your help! The increase will be actually for just 1K per year and I can ask them to review my salary next year after UKBA will publish the new SOC code. I will then have about 6 months until my ILR so will get that salary for 6 months. The other question is; if they chec...

ILR and SOC code salary

Hi All, Could you please shed some light on this: for ILR, it is required to earn appropriate salary as per relevant SOC code for Tier 2 General migrants. When I extended my visa my salary was matching the one in my SOC code but the Government now increased the salary for my SOC code, however, my em...

Re: IRL maintenance funds

Hi zimba88,

Thanks a lot for your reply!

Does my wife also need to show her bank statements or I can show my ones on behalf of myself and my family and this will be enough? Just to figure out what will be the best option. Thanks a lot!

Re: IRL maintenance funds

Thanks, are you sure? The gov.uk site clearly says you need to proof that you can maintain yourself and dependands. Section Family members (dependants) in https://www.gov.uk/settle-in-the-uk/y/you-have-a-work-visa/tier-2-general-visa The application form also says that you need to provide bank state...

IRL maintenance funds

Hi All, When I will apply for an IRL my wife and child will apply too as they are currently my dependands under my Tier 2 General visa. 2 questions please: 1) Does my wife also need to show her bank statements or my statements will be enough to cover all of us? 2) What is the minimum amount of money...

SOC salary increase

Hi All, I noticed that salary for my SOC code has been increased. 3 questions on this: 1) Does my employer need to increase my salary too to match it or this is not required at this moment? 2) Once I will apply for ILR next year my salary should match or exceed the one mentioned in SOC code. So when...

Dear All, I was hoping I won't face any more issues and will get my ILR next year, but it looks like my journey is always full of unpleasant adventures. Re: A theoretical question: RLMT excemption and UKBA visit

Thanks for your reply! And what about this point: Could a non tier 2 candidate been deemed suitable at selection if there was a RLMT Obviously if we apply from a visa that do not require RLMT we still can apply to a role that potentially a settled worker could undertake if there was a RLMT. But as t...

A theoretical question: RLMT excemption and UKBA visit

Hi guys, I was always interested in the question below and would like to know your opinion on this please. So some people are exempt from RLMT when applying for a Tier 2 General visa. Let's imagine a scenario when someone gets a Tier 2 General visa without RLMT and working under eligible SOC code, f...
