Supporting Docs for Question 1.50: AN Form

Hi all, I am on ILR for more than year now (14 months exactly). I was on Tier-1 before ILR. Now, I am applying for Naturalisation. I've filled in details of all employers I worked for ever since I came to UK in the table of Question 1.50 (page 10) AN Form 2016. In the AN Guide for Question 1.48 - 1....

Re: Applying Nationality - only for child - not parents

Makes sense. We will all then apply together. Our son who was born here already has British Nationality but it does not make noise that parents are on ILR only, not just for us but for anyone as rule 1 (3).

Re: Applying Nationality - only for child - not parents

Was child born abroad? If so registration is discretionary (at Home Secretary's discretion) and parent/s should be applying or should have been naturalised; section 3(1) of BNA. Yes, she was born abroad, has ILR already for more than a year but we just want to apply for her nationality at the momen...

Could you please clarify if you are applying as Self Employed/Contractor or Permanent Employee of another company for your ILR covering 12 months of the last 15 months? My last extension was using permanent full time employee. Then I opened my own limited company and did contracting for 3 months. Af...

Yes, I just checked the boxes and put a little note along with that. Only details for main applicant are provided in 4.8 but nothing for the dependant and will just present dependant certificate.

Re: ILR -no options in SET(0) for dependent for Language exa

Hi,

You are correct. I face same issue so I have put little note(s) along with boxes I have filled in for language. There is no space to provide details of the pass certificate of the dependant.

Regards.

My friend who was on Tier-2 G got his ILR on last Friday and only submitted last month payslip and last month bank statement (like you said no older than 28 days) and that was it, no 12 month stuff required like Tier-1 G.

My friend had his ILR done today. He was on Tier-2 (General). He attended driving class day before yesterday because of over speeding and was also fined £100 in last few days for same. But it went fine for him today. Also, his wife gave IELTS like my wife in Nov 2011 and she used that expired certif...

Re: Tier 1 (G) applicant soon be applying for ILR

The use of "may" is a concern TBH. If a test report (which has since expired) has never been used in an immigration application before then a new test is usually required to be undertaken. Unless you want to take a risk. Did she not have to prove English language requirement in any of her...

Re: Entered 90 days after leave was granted - 28 day grace I

if you came to UK e.g. on 17-Oct-2010, you can count when you can apply as:

17-Oct-2010 + 5 Years - 28 Days = 19 Sep 2015.

So you should be safe to apply after 19 Sep 2015.
