You can only claim your experience from May 2007 on words, so in your case you can claim 6 years. So you can basically get 10 points for 5 or more year experience band.

Yes, Its everywhere on the internet that same criteria will be applied as was applied at the time of Tier 1 extension. I have to show same level of salary earned which I showed at the time of HSMP to Tier 1 extension.

But can somebody please answer my actual question.

New Passport issued and the visa is in the old passport. As long as the visa is valid everything is fine. All you are required to do is keep both passports together.
