In most cases, all your document have to be presented before you start a new job. The acknowledgement letter is mainly useful for your old job. Checking for your job status at this stage might raise an eyebrow. You are meant to be concentrating on your business activities by now. Is the job related...

I think you should continue with your appeal. They know that can happen and that is why they want both team member to have equal access to fund. UKBA is unpredictable.... As long as taken your money, that's fine. Sometimes it takes 2 to 4 weeks. I got my one 2weeks later. My team member received about 6 months later. Everything will be fine. Wait for biometric letter and give biometric on time. Good luck.

I agree with dayyurite.... It's better to carry on with appeal and end of the day if one option closed another 2 will be opened naturally. Good luck.... And congratulation on your wedding.
