Application unsuccessful on the basis that time spent on awaiting decision of extension application and appeal (12 months) is breach of qualifying resident period. I m 100% sure they are covered under s.3c if applied in time. How can this period is qualifying residency for ILR (10 yr long residency...

received brown envelop today after 6.5 months and application unsuccessful because of gap (leave expired and made new application which took ages to decide than appeal) in qualifying resident period of 5 years. 10 Years ILR - SET LR

Submit your most recent ukba feedback and ask for Priority Service for 10 years ILR so we don't have to wait 8 to 12 months to get our documents.

I am checking for my brother who has TWES and yes one of my friend got ILR on 5 years TWES applied by post in 2005 and other got ILR on 10 years basis out of which 5 years were or TWES, But if you ring UKBA they will say NO you cannot apply. WP to ILR

Did anyone get ILR recently after 5 years TWES WP?
I know few friends who got ILR in 2005 on same basis.
TWES and Business and Commercial looks same on passport, is it worth taking risk of fee £2000 and trying by post or by person?

TWES

Same form is used to apply TWES and WP. TWES can be applied for maximum of 5 Years and both Work Permits looks same on passport i.e. no mention of Training or TWES etc. Only the letter you received with WP states that you have to leave the country after your training (TWES).
