You may have already covered it but just to point in-case, don't you have administrative review available for your refusal for your dependant Visa? If it is, it must be applied within 28 days.

Wondering whether this will count as early application and can be rejected as invalid application? I reckon early applications are allowed for long residency, Do they allow it for 5 year ILR? Looking forward to some insight I don't have any practical suggestion how to get it changed but you should b...

Re: Unable to get same day appointment for my 6 month old

I think you should be trying in Tier 1 General PBS Dependant if it's not typo. Keep trying sometimes cancelled appointment become available at day times. The other option is super premium service if you don't already know but pretty expensive. I have been trying to get a same day appointment using t...

As sushdmehta said, be positive and wait patiently. 1) If you have provided address correctly, it's not your fault, keep your postage of proof secure. UKBA sent acknowledgement by second class post and it's more chances of getting lost then courier. 2) you can call and check with HO but not sure the...

yes you should call and check HO, they can confirm if application is received. Hi, Tier 1 General Extension. Applied on 15th Oct. I know this sounds stupid but I somehow sent my special recorded delivery to the Courier address and not the postal address. The Royal mail website shows that the applica...

I think you will be aright, should get your visa from expiry as your application should not be considered too early.

Sometimes back, I called HO call centre, the person suggested that case worker has discretion in giving the second extension, and he can give it for any duration( not necessarily 2 or 3 years). The immigration rules are contrary to this statement and clearly states that visa should be granted for 2 ...
