ILR (Long Route) Documents for submission - Passport Pages

Hello. I have made my application for ILR (Long route). I've been in the UK since Oct. 2010 and I haven't broken continuous residence. My appointment for biometrics is on the 30th November. I have some questions about the documentation I am supposed to upload to the UKVCAS website. - A document chec...

Re: Financial Statement Confusion

When I did my Post Study Work visa application (same day application), the UKBA (as they were back then) officer who interviewed me told me to get a statement that showed my closing balance for the day. I had fulfilled the financial statement obligations using my Barclays statements, but I guess she...

Re: Fresh 200K visa application after 50K expiration?

I would be unable to satisfy the job creation stipulation (24 months minimum for 2 or more people) for an extension. My question is: can I make a fresh out-of-country application (200K) to obtain another tier 1 visa? You are wrong, you need only 12 month of Job creation for 2 people not 2 years for...

Re: Fresh 200K visa application after 50K expiration?

You are entitled to make further investment with the funds you have available. Thanks for your response, Obie. I appreciate I can make further investments into my current business, however, with the time I have left on my current visa I would be unable to satisfy the job creation stipulation (24 mo...

Fresh 200K visa application after 50K expiration?

Hello. I am currently on a tier 1 (entrepreneur) 50K visa, obtained via the PSW route. It expires in November. When I obtained the visa, my industry sector was booming and obtaining contracts for the work I do was not a problem. However, over the past 2 years the industry (engineering, oil and gas) ...

I concur with what Olasunkanmi said.

It's in your personal account, not your business account, so it is available to you by name, and not to your business.

Misskin, The requirement is that your company has to have been active for the last three months. The wording from UKBA is a bit confusing, but the important thing is that in the past three months the company has been trading, as opposed to being dormant. My company had been actively trading since Ma...

Thanks everyone. Like I said, it really helped that I was able to read through this forum. Heck I didn't even know this opportunity existed for PSW holders until September 1st, when I checked this forum out of curiosity. Since then I had been greedily assimilating knowledge.

In this day and age, there are lots of contracts done with foreign companies from the UK. It's the nature of business. Personally, I don't think it's important where your client is. Your company is based in the UK. You pay UK taxes. Your business bank is based in the UK. Like Olasukanmi said, the ru...

As Darvesh said, the 50K must be your own money. Money in your business account is company money. How will the home office know your liabilities (corporation tax, VAT, PAYE/NI, dividend tax) or your profits (dividends) just by looking at your business account balance? Except of course if you get you...

I am a bit confused by your timeline. You say your visa expired 1st Feb 2013. You applied the day before, and your application was refused on 25 March. You then appealed on 24th September. What happened in the 5 months in-between your refusal, and your appeal, considering the fact your visa had expi...
