To be honest, I would just bring your baby along. You never know. Bring your wife and baby in and if they ask you why is your wife accompanying, just say because baby needs to be fed. If they say baby is not required to attend, then your wife can take baby back home. Just imagine you get there and t...

Hi guys, Just wanted to let you know that my wife has ILR without switching to FLR(M). In summary, we were both on PBS (Tier 2) and while I was on PBS, I got ILR through long residence. As she had already completed 2 years on PBS, she did not need to switch to FLR(M) but filled up SET(O) and ticked ...

So guys, it has been confirmed and this seem consistent at least. If a person, while on PBS visa, obtains ILR because of long residence, then the dependent has to swtich to FLR(M) before applying for ILR. The email above was received from UKBA and seems to be consistent with what is on the forum. Ho...

Just received a reply from UKBA

Thank you for your email. As a policy team we are unable to provide advice on individual applications. However, I can clarify the Rules and confirm that based on the information given in your email your wife will not be eligible to apply for ILR until she has applied for further leave to remain as t...

She was told she qualifies for settlement and should use SET(O).

So as long as a dependent has done 2 years on PBS and in the meantime, the spouse changes from PBS to ILR, then the dependent qualifies for ILR as well.

My wife went for her appointment today and she has been told that she has to use SET (O).

Just thought I'd share this with this forum.

FLR(M)

Hi all, Just wanted to check something. Here's my background: I was on the Tier 2 (General) visa which expires in September 2013. However, in April 2012 i got my ILR on long residence (10 years) basis. My wife was dependent on my Tier 2 visa (which expires in Sept 2013) until I switched to ILR. Now ...

Trying to get a premiun appointment

Hiya, I wanted to make an application on the FLR(M) - spouse of a person settled in the UK using the premium service. 1. Just wanted to know if anyone has been able to book a premiun appointment on UKBA website? 2. I got my ILR to remain in April 2012. Before that I was on Tier 2 Sponsored visa and ...

ILR Long Residence 10 years

Hi there, Just wanted to get someone's opinion on my situation below: I entered the country on 02/12/2001 and was a student visa until September 2008. From September 2008 - September 2010, I have been on the post-study work visa. Then from September 2010 until September 2013, I am currently on the T...
