Re: April 2015 Naturalization application Timeline ONLY

In the past, they provided it without objections, as far as I remember. No they haven't. FOI request will most likely only be successful if you are asking for stats which have already been published in public domain. You can see the migration statistics currently available here - https://www.gov.uk...

Re: April 2015 Naturalization application Timeline ONLY

end of May/ June applicants will probably see approvals in a couple weeks, home office will try and skew the statistics so the "Average" processing time is under 6 months. End of March/April/Early May applicants have most likely been moved to the TODO stack i.e straight to the backlog stac...

Though this might be of interest to all April folks: The March people have put all their stats into a spreadsheet. Schengen visa with Nigerian passport and naturalisation cert

Hi wondering if anyone can help me on this, I'm travelling to paris in a few weeks. My passport is currently at the UK home office where i've applied for naturalisation. I plan to receive the result shortly. However the timeframe will be to short to apply for a British passport and i'll have to use ...

Home office might be being sly here. Yes they received 39411 Applications but the applications granted could have been from july last year.

Re: Naturalisation application - Need to travel re Bereaveme

Just to add that counting from the Tuesday 26th May after the bank holiday, I'll be gone for 22 working days, about a month of normal days in total. It'll be fine, the biometrics letter is sent by second hand post. Post that is not secured can get "Lost", so you could actually contact the...

Re: Naturalisation Biometrics - Need to travel re Bereavemen

Thanks both for your replies, but Sanky, I can't "plan my travel accordingly", my father has just died and I am going home to be with my family, letter or no letter. I will err on the side of caution and send UKVI an e-mail and try to call them, just to cover myself. I'll also have proof ...

Re: Naturalisation application - Need to travel re Bereaveme

they will most likely send you another biometrics letter if you haven't done your biometrics within a certain time limit. The Biometrics limitation they set out in the letter of 15 days is just to scare people to do it as quick as possible so they dont have a pile of applications on their desk

Re: April 2015 Naturalization application Timeline ONLY

To all those who are worried about the "15 working days limit" on the biometrics i wouldn't worry at all. They had this for ilr as well. There is in fact no real limit (actually i think its 8 months) as to when you can submit your biometrics, this is because your biometrics letter could be...

Re: Naturalisation application processing timelines (only)

I'll keep this brief. Profit form ukba/home office applications goes towards paying extra staff to clear out backlogs, and probably to the ukba police to carry out their operations. Although i still reckon they have very little justification for charging absurd prices

Re: When shud i apply for naturalisation -Indian passport ho

You could have applied on 7th January this year....To your questions 1. Yes its very possible you can get it before December, but the UKVI can be unpredictable in their processing. I would go through NCS , so you can keep your passport in case of any unforeseen delays. Some people from May last year...

Re: Naturalisation application processing timelines (only)

The reason why more recent applications are taking weeks, and older applications are taking months is so UKVI can skew the statistics in their favour to reach their "6 month" target. Im sure you can do the relevant maths to workout how this can benefit them, but for example if someone were...

Probably general processing such as sorting mail, which can be done by weekend staff. I doubt your caseworker works on weekends, they have lives and have to go home to their families just like the rest of us.

Re: Naturalisation application processing timelines (only)

Guys, anyone who applied (application received by the HO) around the 30th of March and got the payment processed? I spoke with my solicitor and looks like that due to fee increase, there has been a spike in applications to submit them before the April date and now there is a huge backlog. Let me kn...

i had my question answered by someone at vfs "once you have used up the number of total number ofentries your schengen visa becomes invalid" so if you have a single entry visa and use it, then it becomes valid and re-apply for a new one even if the expiry on the visa is days/weeks/months l...
