Re: Combined applications for AN & Passport (Pilot project-H

I am not sure if this will be of any consolation. but I see your point. As am one of the first few who applied in the first week of Dec. I applied for both Nat and Passpt through NCS- Cheltenham (Gloucestershire) on the 2/12, on the 4/12 money for Naturalisation was taken, then I did my Biometrics ...

Re: ILR - Set O Tier 1 - Questions on Filling the form

Reading the responses above, I think that if the absences dont exceed 180 days, we don NOT have to show employer letters. But I called the helpline and they confirmed otherwise - saying we need a letter regardless. When I asked, how about the initial contract, detailing my paid annual leave allowanc...

Called UKBA helpline number and lady confirmed that it is required for all of the categories. I am not sure how to provide these as letters...... it is a bit too much and that too all of a sudden. Did you get a chance to ask if the letters are required even if you are within the 180 days limit? Tha...

Hello All, This rule seems to have confused quite a lot of us. Thanks to everyone for sharing their view. However I fail to see the reason why Tier1 candidates should be alarmed. To start with, I would just like to confirm that I am looking at the right document : http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/s...

Tier 1 (General) Extension Timelines

After the closure of the previous topic (which I certainly am not happy with) :x :x - where should we speak about the timeline queries, or get updates on?

Anyone got a clue? Or should we just start below?

Ah, right - I read your post elsewhere. They only took £1500, whereas they should have taken £2000 - isn't that correct! Really, its exasperating me as they are taking so damn long! People have a life and if you hold on to their travel documents, they are literally trapped for that period! And to ad...

Still considering applications for which Biometric were submitted on 13th March. Wonder, how can they still maintain their 75% pledge!

This has to be the most unaccountable department of the government ever!!!!

It arrived yesterday and everything was fine there. No issues. I personally think that acknowledge l...

Spelling Mistake on Acknowledgement Letter

Guys, I received my acknowledgement letter today but they have made a typo in my name.

Do I need to worry about this and get it rectified? If so, please suggest, how?

Any email or phone number?

Thanks!

HSMP- yes, I thought as much. Also the closure of PSW route might be an added factor. Of course, UKBA does what it likes and takes its own sweet time. However, just trying to second guess and anticipate how long will this delay actually delay the process by. I need to travel in mid June and am tryin...
