question about tax office (field 3.5 in form AN)

Hi,

I am a regular employee and I pay my income tax though PAYE.

Do I still need to fill in fields 3.1- 3.5?

Is the tax office (field 3.5) my or my employer's tax office? Where can I find it (it is not on my payslip)

Thanks!

Thanks for your response.

"knows you personally for at least three years" - does he has to know me 'continuously' or meeting him a few times 4 years ago is fine?

How well should my referee know me?

Hi, would you know if a solicitor (registeded with UKBA) who has seen me 3 times (during the appointments) about 4 years ago and with whom I have exchanged maybe a dozen emails and a few phone calls would be suitable as a referee. Solicitor has agreed to sign the form, but I want to doublecheck. Tha...

Glasgow

It is in an industrial area, 5 min walk from the nearest underground station (if you know where you are going... most locals do not know the address), quite small, they do not have (as of Sept 2012, they did not have) the card reading machine, so you need to fill in the payment form. It is quite sma...

certificate of sponsorship points

Hi,

I have 2 questions regarding CoS points:

1. How many points does my application need to score to guarantee same day positive response?

2. Salary points: are they attributed for the salary before taxes, salary+fixed bonuses before taxes or anything else?

Thanks!

Switching from Tier 1 to Tier 2

Hi,

I was wondering if I could get my Tier 2 start date to be PRIOR (1 or 2 months earlier) than my Tier 1 expiry date? If it's possible, is it automatic/easy to obtain/difficult/impossible? What does it take?

Many thanks in advance!

Hi, I used to be a work permit holder and then I switched to Tier 1. I hope to apply to ILR some time soon. A question regarding section 9.C of SET-O form: do I understand correctly that the age I am stating and get the points for is the age I had when I got my Tier 1 (e.g. if I applied for Tier 1 i...
