Banker's draft should be good enough. You don't need to re-apply, just wait n watch.

Don't bother too much as this process is slow and it has even slowed down now due to the last minute rush before Fee rise and also due to the fact that UKBA would be busy with visa processing for Olympics 2012.

You can never be sure if 100% people are on this board and then how can you be sure that out of those uncertain 100% all the people will reply to your post. I guess the best thing to ask for is a web based tracking system where you don't need to call and queue, just use your reference number/passpor...

CW's discretion? There is a document explicity covering delayed travel. As long as he entered within 90 days of visa start date he should be ok. http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=93529&highlight= I am sure I read a success story in the forum. I just cannot find the link. Excerpts...

I agree with all the answers posted to your question.

I still can't understand why would you want to state a different Job role / title in the application and then next time orally.

There's nothing to loose here so maybe you could take the route of e-petition and post the link on the forum so that the members could sign the petition.

** I guess the result would be the same as the e-petition for fee rise

Re: Changing job after applying

I don't think there is a legal issue here but the employers and agencies don't prefer candidates with an immigration status not clear beyond a few months.

Legally you can switch, jump, bump whatever you want. The question is whether the employers would allow that ? 8)

I don't think you will be able to apply for ILR if you switch to Tier 2. Check with an immigration lawyer before you take that route.
