Your employer will get COS allocation along with the license. it doesnt require any extra time. Dont worry everything will get sorted. all the best.

you can make a request any time. Early is better. Go ahead and ask your HR to make a request. But once assigned to you it has to be used in 3months

i think your questions was answered in the starting of this thread. Time line may be from 3weeks to 3months. Depends, there is no fixed time. There are some exceptional cases like mine, was really lucky, got the license in 5 working days :D

Sponsor License: may take from 3weeks to 3months

COS: as this is first application if licensed successfully you will get this automatically no extra time needed.

Tier 2: may take from 6-10weeks normally

The eligibility criteria for tier 2 salary is: either 20K or salary according to your SOC code which ever is higher.

As you are a developer the least you need to earn is 26K as programmer. You need to have good look at Codes of practice website.

As far as i know, if the COS status has changed from assigned to used it means you application has been processed/is currently under process and in final stages. You should hear from them soon. All the very best :)

Yes its a nightmare which doesn't seem to end. I had to postpone my tickets thrice because of this delay. Not sure what to do next if nothing comes around this coming week....
