Your employer will get COS allocation along with the license. it doesnt require any extra time. Dont worry everything will get sorted. all the best.

As far as i know, if the COS status has changed from assigned to used it means you application has been processed/is currently under process and in final stages. You should hear from them soon. All the very best

If you are applying from inside UK you dont need restricted COS. You need a unrestricted COS
