I can demonstrate residence but I would not have completed the 5 years period according to my registration certificate. I had a look at the application and I got the impression that only the main applicant has to supply evidence of exercising treaty rights. Is this correct? I was thinking to provide...

EEA3 Parent and child application

I am A2 national, exercising treaty rights as a student. I have been living with my parents in the past 5 years and they have supported me financially. My parents' registration certificates were issued earlier than mine as we all applied separately. Now as the 5 years are coming to an end we are pla...

I think what you may be referring to is rather the requirement for EEA nationals not to be an unreasonable burden to public funds. This is still on the website but under a different section. exactly, this is what I meant. I found something on their website, but I am not sure If I understood it righ...

Could it have been that the A8 were applying for ILR under the national rules and not for PR under the EeA regulations? Unless you plan to support a EEA4 application or have kids in the near future, in which case having PR confirmation is useful, your other option is just not to apply. Doubt it as ...

There is no premium service for EEA3. You have to do a postal application. Same day service is only available for EEA 1 applucations. Same day service was not available for BR applications a couple of years ago but a family member booked it under EEA and was fine. While there she observed A8 nation...

Appointments -Croydon

I have been trying to book an appointment for the EEA3 application route. The whole task seems impossible-online booking does not offer any appointments at all. I tried to book it over the phone but all they say is that they are fully booked until certain date and cannot book anything beyond that da...

Re: Update

Just to let you all know the update on this case. I wrote a letter asking for more information from the Liverpool people and (surprise, surprise), no reply whatsoever. I guess I really have to call them. They do take a while to respond sometimes. Call them or re-send the letter (if you can wait). I...

I agree with Jambo's post. I would only add that your employment before 2007, will not be counted by the UKBA. You were then required to register before/when starting employment. Pregnancy would count if you have left the UK because of the pregnancy and were exercising treaty rights before that. You...

You don't have to openly say what your sexual orientation is. This is completely private. As far as I know UKBA does not ask for such information but even if they did it will be optional to disclose it. In fact if someone discriminates against you on the basis of your sexual orientation, it will be ...

Nice theory, but somehow, I doubt it.
The way it's written it sounds like tax to me but I don't understand why did they put it in the letter.

PR, BC and being in receipt of Maintenance Grant

Hi, An EU student is granted PR regardless of the fact that they have been in receipt of Maintenance Grant (based on parents' low income) and then go on to apply for BC. Could the application for BC be refused because the student has been receiving public funds hence the grant? My logic is that once...
