Thanks! But since I have the PR document and will not be filling in sections 2.4-2.6, shouldn't I enter the PR (EEA3 card) issue date? It was issued in 3.5 years ago so more than enough to satisfy the 1 year 'free of immigration time restrictions' requirement. And (out of curiosity) if I have to fil...

Thank you very much for your help. So I will leave 2.4, 2.5 and 2.6 blank, but I am super confused about 1.3 now. It says: 1.3 Please say when you were given indefinite leave to enter/remain in the UK (not necessary if you are a Commonwealth citizen with right of abode in the United Kingdom). If you...

BC application for EEA3 holders

Hello, I am an EEA national and have had an EEA3 card since November 2009. I want to apply for BC now - do I need to fill in sections 2.4 and 2.5 of the application form? Or can I just send my permanent residence card + P60s covering the period since November 2009 (to prove that I've been in the UK ...

Hello, Just wanted to give a heads up on my boyfriend's ILR. He withdrew his application in December after being told that they couldn't process it on the same day because of this 'new rule'. We filled a complaint with the UKBA on the same day and got our PM involved as well. The complaint got escal...

Thanks for your feedback. We have decided to try the ILR to remain again - from the advise we were given by a solicitor, it won't be refused however we will need to wait for the case to be reviewed by a senior officer. So we have filled a complaint with UKBA, our local MPs and the Home Secretary, Th...

Just wanted to follow up on our situation. My boyfriend had exactly the same problem yesterday and went back to the home office today to pick up his passport as we have holidays booked. We have filled a complaint with UKBA, our local MPs and the Home Secretary, Theresa May. The issue here is that wh...

Apply by post, not in person. PEO staff don't have the authority to make a decision when an application may need further checks for absence. this is 100% correct. I went last week, 8th Dec, to apply for ILR in person, and the PEO caseworker told me that as of Monday 5th Dec they can no longer decid...

EEA4 and citizenship (work visa + EEA2 holder)

Hello, I was wondering if someone could help me. Here is a summary of my boyfriend's situation: 1. He was granted a 5-year work permit on the 21st December 2006 2. In August last year, he decided to quit his job and open his own company so he applied for a Tier 1 (general) visa successfully 3. His T...

Here is a summary of our situation (points 1 – 8 are all Tier 1 related to give you some background but from 9 onwards my questions are about applying fo...
