Jaani How much do you need to show in your account or earn for sponsoring your spouse from abroad? As long as you can show u have funds of £105.95 a week after paying for housing and council tax and not having public fundings you should be fine. There are speculations that amount earned may change i...

Hi All,

Just thought I'd let you know that our appeal has been allowed. It took some time to sink in that it was all finally over.

I hope those of you that are still waiting recieve good news very soon.

Hi Harv,
U do not need a NOC or CNI to get married to an indian national. However to register a court marriage in India you do have to give notice of marriage. Have you done this?

Thanks for the info Chimpee.
Hubby refused as ECO states inadequate finances. The ECO got some things wrong on the refusal which we have corrected in appeal. Hope we hear something soon.

Batleykhan: I get the impression that he does not feel that the money you have shown is adequate and enough for you to live on. You not working and no guarantee that your hubby will be able to find job on arrival in UK means you have no steady incoming coming in, and that you may eventually have to ...

Spouse Visa Appealed

Hi all,
Like many of you I am also waiting for either a reconsideration or court date. I have not heard anything from them since the letter of acknowledgement, so was going to call them. Should I?
Is there anything I can do to speed up the process (prob not but worth a question).
