I finally finished uploading the documents last night and have booked the biometric appointment for Thursday. Hopefully everything is fine.

Re: Self uploading documents through VFS Global

Thanks for responding Fififadi. That sounds awful. I uploaded quite a few documents yesterday and was hopeful it'd be ok but the site is playing up even more today - I removed some docs too so I can put in a different folder so that hasn't helped. I just hate the thought of having to print all these...

Re: Posted documents for spouse visa --- need help

From other posts I've read, people waited for the VAC to contact them. But if you have a way of contacting the VAC, then you should just in case they don't call you.

I hope it's good news for you :)

Re: Self uploading documents through VFS Global

Has anyone had success after self-uploading supporting documents for the entry clearance spouse visa? Can you share what categories you used please?

Unfortunately, we have to complete uploading before sis-in-law has biometrics done - hopefully it'll be this Thursday.

Self uploading documents through VFS Global

Hi all This is for the initial spouse visa, applying from Bangladesh. The application was submitted on 17/08/19. We're in the process of uploading the supporting documents now before fixing the biometrics appointment but the folders available are a little confusing. 1. There's a folder called 'Spons...

Re: How closely are bank statements checked?

Thanks for responding Seagul. Luckily Natwest stamped and signed every single page without any issue.

Re: How closely are bank statements checked?

Of course i meant his transactions! I wrote the post in first person and then amended it - I guess I missed one or two out as I'm typing in a rush (I've kind of become my brother in this process lol). Sorry for the confusion.

Re: How closely are bank statements checked?

Hi, I've hit a hurdle with getting the bank statements from NatWest. We requested 01Jan-31Jul statements from Natwest on 01/08/19 but as yet they haven't arrived in the post. We chased again on the 10th and still nothing. Bro just logged into his online account and can see they generated a combined ...

How closely are bank statements checked?

Hi I don't know if I'm fretting too much now as we're almost ready to submit the application. My brother who is sponsoring his wife's spouse visa has good income so financial requirment is met. However, late last year we had a niece (who had come over to the UK earlier in the year) who unfortunately...

Are housing reports required if living with parents?
no if no other none-related adults.
Thanks Seagul 🙂

Re: Online application now asking for 12 months of payslips

Thanks! Kimn - I'm sure it won't be a problem for your application as you answered according to how the question was asked. BTW, did you provide a housing report to confirm you had adequate accommodation? Sponsor lives with parents and was going to provide a no objection letter from father (property...

Re: Online application now asking for 12 months of payslips

Kimn - one of the questions under English Lanaguage was: Did the test assess your speaking and listening skills at a level equivalent to CEFR B1 or higher? This has now been changed to: Did the test assess your speaking and listening skills at a level equivalent to CEFR A1 or higher? Makes more sen...

Online application now asking for 12 months of payslips

Hi I've been completeing a UK spouse visa application for someone outside of the UK (Bangladesh) for the past couple of weeks and when I logged in today, there was a message saying the application form has been updated by UKVI. I noticed they rephrased one of the questions and at Declaration they ar...

Hi

It seems like you don't need to get a new TB test done. See this older thread immigration-for-family-members/travelli ... 60729.html.

Re: Correct address to send spouse visa application

So this is way over 60 days for you! They really should have been in touch by now. If they accept online applications you'd think they'd be able to provide the decision online too. I'm helping my brother and his wife with her application so I've been trying to find experiences specific to Bangladesh...

Re: Passport issue re UK spouse visa from Bangladesh

Thank you Juane08 - that was helpful :) My brother has a good job and pay is over £19K so no issues there. He hasn't sent money to his wife for daily expenses so just wondered if this was an issue. He has only sent money for Eid and other big occasions. She lives with her parents and they take care ...

Re: Passport issue re UK spouse visa from Bangladesh

Hi I'm helping with the UK spouse visa application for my brother's wife. She will be applying from Sylhet, Bangladesh in the first week of August and we're hoping she can make it to a family member's wedding here in the UK on 27 October. I know, it's a very tight timeline. Fingers crossed! We've s...
