If you applied before 6 April 201, then the same rules should apply to you.

Remember to take the letter you got for Tier-1 visa which gives you a summary of points awarded.

Please can you double check my dates if you don't mind ? Immigration Details: Entry Clearance Date under HSMP: 21/05/2007 (valid until 21/05/2...

I am in a similar situation. My employer pays me on the last working day of every month but the pay slip always show the last day of month. Most of the times it matches but in some months it doesn’t. For example in July 2011 I was paid on 29th (as 30th and 31st were falling on weekend) but the pay s...

As long as you can justify the days (which are over 180) and have the evidence that it was a business trip and you were paid by a UK employer during that time, you should be fine.

As long as the gap between your entry clearance and UK arrival date is less than 90 days, you should be ok (The case workers have the discretion to consider entry clearance date for the purpose of 5 years continues residence). You can’t be out of country for more than 180 days in 5 years time. Your ...

As long as you got the pay slips, you should be fine. It was your employer’s responsibility then to pay the correct tax, if he has not paid that’s his problem.

You need to be honest in your ILR application and I would suggest you taking professional advice.

Hi Sulabh, I was in a similar situation few years back when I had to show my salary slips for Tier-1 extension. You need to ask them to take a print of your salary slips and stamp & sign them and post them to you. That’s what I did and my salary slips were accepted. (I also used an Umbrella comp...

Lost Passport for Tier-1 Dependant (which form to use) ?

Hi Guys,

I am currently on Tier-1 General visa. I got the dependant visa for my UK born son in 2009 but I have lost his passport.

I am not sure which of the forms I need to use to get his visa again on his new passport ?

1. PBS Dependant Form
2. Transfer of Conditions Form (TOC)

You still need to fill the first page. That’s the reason there are options for both postal and PEO payments on the first page.

Xerox is generally not a requirement but some case workers like it and say; it saves their time (especially for same day application).

But I have seen on posts in this forum, that sometimes case workers don’t accept the Xerox and prefer to make their own copies.

You don’t need to rely just on Council Tax. You can use any of these.

1. Utility Bills
2. Bank Statements
3. Credit Card Statements
4. GP/NHS Correspondence etc
5. And literally any junk mail with your name and address on it

Congrats khanna !

In most of the POE cases I have heard, they take the payment first and then the case worker considers your case and gives the decision. Looks like in Solihull, they give the decision first and then take the payment.

I would totally agree with Imran. I have myself never heard of UKBA accepting personal cheques for POE appointment.

You need to take your debit card which is generally fine but again as Imran suggested, it would be nice to have another card (could be a credit card) with you as a backup.

new2012, as you are under HSMP JT, the ILR criminality threshold doesn’t apply to you. Also, as you have got your enhanced CRB checked few times and also got police clearance certificate, I think you will be fine even if you declare it. I am wondering if it was a criminal conviction, it would have a...
