FLR(M) Section 7A - Do I need to declare my sponsor's income

Hello, I'm currently applying for an extension of my FLR(M), and the members of this forum were very helpful in the past. I'm currently employed in the UK, and my income meets the requirements set out in FLR(M). Do I still need to declare my sponsor's income as well? I'd like to avoid having to fill...

Thanks for the quick reply! I did see that link, and the related list, but it seemed a bit too vague with regards to the question. So if my wife recieves Disability Living Allowance for her son, then I'm exempt from the financial requirement and should fill out 7C instead of 7B? Is the amount of the...

FLR(M) - Financial Requirement - Question 7.1

Hello All, Regarding question 7.1: Are you or your sponsor in receipt of a benefit listed within the guidance notes? If you claim to be exempt from meeting the financial requirement you must submit the relevant evidence, as specified, of your eligibility to be exempt. I've checked the guidance form,...

That's all very good advice, thank you for that!

Why do you suggest applying in writing as oppossed to PEO? I would have thought PEO would give me a better opportunity to explain my situation?

I do absolutely intend to live with my wife, and did for a month before we were married, but I'd have been broke within months with the cost of commuting via train every day (700 pounds a month!), not to mention a 4 hour round trip commute. Unfortunately I can't get a job closer to where she lives w...

FLR(M) Married for 3 months and haven't applied yet...

I married my wife back in December of last year. I haven't applied for FLR (M) yet as I have yet to move my bills, etc to my wife's address. I have a current sponsored worker visa. I do not currently live with my wife because my job is in London while my wife lives in the East Midlands. Am I hurting...

Thank you so much for your response. It's very good to hear as I was quite worried. She does not live at her parent's home where my correspondence is sent. She owns her own home. We do not currently have anything in joint names. If I were to have my mail sent to my wife's address and we were to open...

FLR(M) - I haven't lived with my spouse for two years, but..

Hello, I'm a US citizen currently living in the UK on a Tier 2 (General) Visa, sponsored by my employer. I've lived in the UK for almost two years and have 1 year left on this Visa. I married my girlfriend of 4 years last month. She is a British citizen (born here, and holds a passport). We dated lo...
