Re: Out of the the UK period for FLM(M) applicant

Many thanks for this. It’s great advice!

Is there a weblink to the information you have shared ( so that I can take a look at other requirements that need to be met)?

Thanks

Re: Successful PEO/PSC ILR applications

Hello uk-ilr,

Thanks for sharing your positive experience with us.

I have my appointment soon. My simple question is the following:
In the paper SET(LR) application form, did you simply ignore the payment section? There is nowhere to say that you have already paid your fee online?

Regards,

10 years Long residency on Premium Service

Hello, I have recently booked a Premium service appointment for SET(LR) at a PEO. I did not have to fill in an online form for this appointment. Does this mean that I should fill in the latest SET(LR) form by hand and take to the appointment? In the SET(LR) form, there is no mention of the Premium s...

Does this mean that...

The PBS dependant policy guidance would not mention this as it is not a condition for the actual category. Rather, applications made in only a few select counties (see UKBA site on which she applied) are required to provide this. There will be relevant information on the UKBA website in the country...

The is no requirement, legal or otherwise, for a spouse to be a dependent visa holder. They can hold their own visa. However, it makes it easier if spouse is a dependent when reaching the stage of ILR etc. as if they are on their own visa, they cannot apply with you and will have to wait till they ...

If you submit an application on the last day you can continue to work for your current sponsor. You cannot start working for your new sponsor until your application has been approved, regardless of whether you apply in time or not. Thanks Greenie, Does this apply for a new job for the same employer?

Yes you can apply on the last day. You cannot work for a new employer until your application has been approved. See 245GE h) (iii) of the rules. If you apply after your visa expires you cannot work all until your application is approved as indicated in my reply in your other thread. Thanks, so if I...
