Good news I got my COS allocation and have an appointment booked for 14th. No other nearest date was available.

I got my cos in 5 days so not bad at all.

On another note jan01283, Do you know what reason and documents your HR put for an additional COS. It would be nice to know as if they reject for some reason then I would know what reason to put for the next additional COS. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't happen. I'm in similar situation and my HR had asked for extra COS's to be allocated last week Thursday. They had used all of their 20 COS for this year.

I'm expecting mine by middle of this month hopefully.
