Re: Time required for increase unrestricted CoS allocation

On another note jan01283, Do you know what reason and documents your HR put for an additional COS. It would be nice to know as if they reject for some reason then I would know what reason to put for the next additional COS. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't happen. But just to be on the safe side its bett...

Re: Time required for increase unrestricted CoS allocation

Hi jan01283, When was your visa supposed to expire? Did they do your COS allocation based on that it was supposed to expire soon? Or did you still have time for it? Would appreciate your reply as my visa doesn't expire in 15 days. BTW I got an email reminder from Home Office that my visa is about to...

Re: Time required for increase unrestricted CoS allocation

Hi jan01283,

Congratulations. Apply for your visa and keep us posted about it.

I'm in similar situation and my HR had asked for extra COS's to be allocated last week Thursday. They had used all of their 20 COS for this year.

I'm expecting mine by middle of this month hopefully.

Congrats again.

Re: Additional COS required!!

Hi tida, Thanks for your reply. The additional Cos has been requested for current year and not for 2016/2017. So I dont understand why it would be live from 6 th April. My visa expires in middle of march. Please suggest what should I do. If what you are saying is true then this is not looking good f...

Re: Time required for increase unrestricted CoS allocation

Hi jan01283, This is strange, normally it takes 2 - 3 weeks. I'm sure there must have been some mistake in communication. Are you sure they specifically said that it will take 18 weeks for giving your employer additional COS for this year? Can you please confirm if there has been any progress with y...

Re: Tier 2 General visa refused incorrect gross salary

Hi Raghav, Just to be on the safe side, ask your HR if they have an extra COS with them or not. If they do not, it might be a good idea to apply for one more right away just to be on the safe side. They dont have to assign it to you straight away but as soon as the admin review comes out negative yo...

Re: Tier 2 General visa refused incorrect gross salary

Hi Raghav, It might be slightly different but I'm going through the same thing. My Visa was rejected and now my HR ran out of COS. They have applied for a new one using SMS process. Hopefully they (UKBA)will give it to me soon. I've been going through forums and threads and found out like manci said...

Re: Tier 2 Extension Visa refusal

Hi Manci: I've discussed with HR about my promotion but wanted to get your opinion. They are giving me a promotion and a salary raise. MY Designation will be a Senior design engineer in the same SOC Code 2122 (I had the same SOC code when I applied for my tier 2 visa). My salary will be now 37000 as...

Re: Tier 2 Extension Visa refusal

Thanks guys for your reply. Manci : My salary will probably be hiked to 37k from the current 32700. Will that be a problem? Is this a very major increase? I will be applying with the same SOC code and same job description. I wont be changing my job title. My employer can do that through the SMS serv...
