Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Is there anyone who enrolled biometrics on or before 17th August and still waiting for the decision? I noticed from the timeline thread that people who enrolled on 19th Aug, 22nd Aug started getting the decisions but I am still waiting even through my biometrics date was 17th Aug. Just trying to ge...

According to their statistics below 127,000 doesn't sound very reasonable, I hope the person who told you that had no idea what he/she was talking about. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/immigration-statistics-year-ending-december-2019/summary-of-latest-statistics I totally agree with you...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

One thing I just don’t understand is that I saw some applicants get direct email from caseworkers requesting documents. Why does it apply on SOME applicants ? Is it because they earn more money and their route is more important? While rest of the applicants need to wait ? Its not the case, if you a...

I sent my opt-out to that email too (admin.ukvas@soprasteria.com), and I think it would've bounced back if it was wrong. I just sent a test email with a deliberate typo (admon.ukvcas) and it bounced back within minutes. Hopefully all is ok. I agree, if somehow our email has ended up in the wrong em...

Re: UKVCAS Appoinment booking costs

Thank you for the clarification. One more thing. Application has been submitted on 03 Aug 2020 and documents on 05 Aug 2020. However when i log in to the (application) portal it says "Attend an appointment to provide your documents and biometrics by 05 October 2020". Does this mean that i...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Applied SET M on 01st July, received email last night that I am eligible for biometric reuse with the option to opt out before 10th July 5pm. Good to hear that. I applied in July and have received the email today. Will you consider opt out? I am a bit confused about whether to use reuse or opt out ...

I applied set (o) from tier 2 on July 27th and I got the biometric reuse email 20 minutes ago, with the opt out deadline by the 10th. I had my biometrics taken last year so did expect it but it still sucks :( I think I will opt out.
Did you receive the email from caseworker to send the docs, yet?

Re: Processing Times?

Hi, Currently Priority and Super priority services are not being offered due to COVID backlog, but as you say you plan to apply end of the year, so they may well be backup by then, but no one actually knows at the moment when they will be back. For standard service it is said it may take upto six mo...
