My wife is applying for her FLR(M). I did not keep council tax bills for the property we were previously living in, but I asked the Council and they've sent me the bills covering that period. It does state both our names and the period and address of the property, but it was sent to the current addr...

Re: FLR (M) Accommodation requirement

Thanks for your reply Casa. Actually our 6 months tenancy agreement expired back in Jan 2016. We are on monthly rolling contract. So i assume a Letter from Letting agent confirming studio apartment is adequate for two people will be enough? Or do you suggest otherwise or anything additional to this?

FLR (M) Accommodation requirement

My wife is applying for her FLR (M) next month. For the proof of accommodation that it's suitable for a couple, do we need to provide tenancy agreement or a letter from Letting agent would suffice? We are living in a spacious studio flat, and have no kids. Would that be regarded as overcrowded?

Thanks. I remember reading on Home office website that we can book 40 or 46 days in advance, but they have only released appointments for 20-28 days as you mentioned.

Re: English language evidence

Your application might still come under scrutiny because of your use of TOEIC / ETS in a previous application.
Actually, the testing center where I had my exam was the only one accepted and recommended by Home Office in Pakistan at that time. So, that was the only option I had.

Re: Spouse Visa Extension!

I understand, but is there any other way we can prove to her employer that she has the right to work and that she will get an extension? She does have the letter from HO which she got with her visa stating that she will be given 30 months extension at the end of her 32 month initial visa.

Thanks Casa and WR1 for the reply. So, if she applies for extension early and then once again to complete 5 years, will it effect her application for ILR?
