Can someone give a me an idea of how I can voluntarily return and what will happen from there on?
The Voluntary Return Service are usually helpful. The link below details who is eligible and how to contact them.

Re: why "liable for detention" and asking for sign..why

so, they are only not detained because of space issue ? and they remain 'immigration zombies' without the right to work and travel and without no way to improve their status ? surely this cannot be true ? there should be some provisions for them ? There is provision for people to make a voluntary d...

Re: if my 5 year cap is over can i go back home and get tier

Dear GMacNab, You were smart enough to read the first few lines only and understand it correctly. However, not smart enough to read further on the same page where it says: Exceptions Applicants who apply to study, or continue to study a course listed below are not subject to the five year limit. so...

Re: Remove of account from this forum

It's much broader than that and way open to interpretation. Article 2 of Directive 95/46 states that ‘[f]or the purposes of this Directive: (a) “personal data” shall mean any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”); an identifiable person is one who can ...

Re: Remove of account from this forum

I'd be very wary of refusing people the ability to delete their posts in light of last month's Court of Justice of the European Communities judgement linked to below regarding the right 'to be forgotten' and on line privacy. It's potentially opened up a can of proverbial worms. http://www.bailii.org...

Complain. Landing card is not required. Passport can be stamped until residence card is received. For the first entry, a landing card is required. 4.3 Landing cards for non-EEA family members Family members do not normally need to produce landing cards. However, this does not apply when a person’s ...

Hi, The rule says" once an applicant has built up a period of 10 years continuous lawful residence, there is no limit on the length of time afterwards that can apply. This means they could leave the UK, re-enter and apply for settlement based on a 10 year period of coninuous lawful residence t...

Sorry, Peppekalle, but a lot of the information you have given is inaccurate. Your cousin does not have to co-operate in the documentation process and refusing to do so is not a reason for continued detention. It is still an offence under Section 35 of the Asylum and Immigration (Treatment of Claima...
