You get the 3 month grace period from the date of naturalization (mentioned on the certificate). Read here [link] http://www.hcilondon.in/renunciation.html If you surrender your Indian passport, it is no longer valid. Acquiring a British Passport does not make your Indian Passport invalid. I know of some countries that do not accept holding 2 nationalities. As a UK citizen one can hold another nationality and use the oth...

Don't you have to surrender your Indian passport once you get a British passport? No, you only need to surrender the indian passport if you are planning to apply OCI. The british dont have a problem with dual citizenship so they dont care how many passports you have as long as they are all legal. I...

The reason they are refusing to accept is because the signature bit is scanned and printed on the new passport. An incomplete signature will make it as a illegal document (you know your sign and think that its OK, but the passport officer does not know your sign). You could have problems while trave...

The rule is that in total you should not be out of country for more than 90 days in the last 12 months. So you whould wait till its less than 90 days out of UK in past 12 months.

Assuming you are not self employed and that your passports cover the 5 years of residence (for each one of you), then your first list is what is needed. You will also need to submit a marriage certificate...
