I was away for 220 days from July 2009 to Feb 2010.I applied in sep and had split the days

so year 3 no of days : 155 days (apprx)
year 4 no of days : 65 days (apprx)

No more than 90 days outside uk continuously
No more than 180 days outside uk for the period of 5 years .

I was not meeting both and my justification of providing company letters didnt work..

Line Manager Letter for ILR gap>90days

Hello,
Im applying for my ILR-SET(O) next week.I have read in various topics on few people arranging for a line managers letter in addtion to company letter. I did manage to get the company letter.

Any tips/template for managers email ?? Also will the line managers email make a difference for ILR?

I hope the justification should come from the employer only .Not sure if this is possible.but is it ok if i mention something like ""as per his role,he has to travel outside UK " or any manager letter or should I mention the details in my cover letter/gap excel
