Re: Urgent help please --Switch from tier 4 to tier 2

I am a little confused as to why your application was rejected to be honest. The quoted text as far as I can tell in relatin to the UK equivalent bachelor or masters degree has to do with the Resident Labour Market Test exemption I believe. However, you say that your employer has completed the RLMT,...

Re: Book an appointment - Premium service

There are plenty of free slots (I guess because it is so hard to get a Tier 2 these days). You should be able to get an appointment within a week. So I would say you have a 100% chance for those days if you ask now.

Which form for Tier 2 - in country

I just wanted to make sure I am completing the right form for applying in-country for a Tier 2 visa. I am currently using this one: https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/300833/T2_Combined_Form___Help_04-14.pdf Is there anything else I need to complete. I am only ...

Re: Lots of Confusion over Tier 2 5 year visa

I don't think the 5 year visa is any different to one that is less than 3 years in any way other than it is a 5 year visa and costs more. So I assume that you can apply for PR in the last 28 days (or apply for another year on the Tier 2 for the total of 6 near expiry). No need to stay with the emplo...

Documents required for a Tier 2 Visa

Hello. Could someone please help me with these queries. I am rather paranoid that I will get my documentation wrong and would be grateful for some experienced advice to calm my nerves. Just wondering if anyone knows whether I need to send in the passports I have from my second nationality to the UKV...

PEO applications worth it?

Hi. I am about to make my first application for a Tier 2 - General visa, switching from Tier 4. My current leave expires at the end of May. I am having difficulty deciding whether to apply by post or through the premium service. Is the extra £400 pounds worth it? I suppose my question is, do people ...

Thanks for that info. I guess it is hard to really know how much documentation they are going to expect. I've done a little more digging and found: The following for they time that we were in Australia in my mother's house: Medicare registration for her. Tax statement for her. Visa registration for ...

Hi, just a question. Are you saying don't apply now, or don't apply at all, even in september?

Also is there any indication that the rules may be changing in autumn? And for the better too?

Thanks again

I don't see marriage as an option. Would like to take our time with that and not rush into it because of the visa. For me marriage is just a legal process, but to her the ceremony seems to be extremely important, and does not want to rush into it yet. We were too complacent in the first 7-8 months o...

That is certainly depressing to hear. As far as I am concerned, my relationship has been akin to marriage - we love each and have lived together when possible for over 2 years, there has been no issues with finances between us (really my money is her money and vice versa) <-- and this has seemed to ...

Is there anything we can do at this stage to strengthen our case? What sort of documentation do we need? Would wills and letters from family members so the job?

Help - Defacto application - Are these documents sufficient?

Hi Guys Just wanted to get your thoughts about what my chances are with this application. I already put this question in the EEA forum, but thought maybe different people frequent each. Woud appreciate your thoughts. I am an Australian citizen who has been going out with an English citizen since May...
