This happened to a friend of mine. Sometimes banks prevent the HO from taking out the money due to anti-fraud measures in place. I'd suggest you call your bank ASAP and let them know about this transaction otherwise you risk the application getting returned as invalid.

Guys not everyone gets an acknowledgement letter. I sent my application with postal orders on the 6th of Jan. Didn't get any acknowledgement but got the biometric invitation last week.

It's not necessary to get an acknowledgement!

Does it say that you can reapply in your refusal letter? If you can then you would probably need to say 'yes' in D21 and explain both refusals. Also suggest you speak to an immigration consultant (after making sure you are allowed to apply again).

Not that yours isn't but since you didn't have the certificate it's not surprising that UKBA want to verify. I won't worry abo...

Read the guidance, make a list and if you're then unsure about something specific then these forums are a good way to get answers. Although most people here ar...

Think you should get a new one. I remember reading somewhere that all documents should be dated no more than 28 days prior to the date of the application.

It's cool

I applied on the 6th as well. The average waiting time for BRP letter is around 3 weeks right now. Don't worry about it!
